Nocte surgentes.

LET us arise, and watch by night,

And meditate always;

And chant, as in our Maker's sight,

United hymns of praise.

So, singing with the Saints in bliss,

With them we may attain

Life everlasting after this,

And heaven for earthly pain.

Grant this, O Father, Only Son,

And Spirit, God of grace,

To whom all worship shall be done

In every time and place.
